I'm in bed fighting a pre-holiday bug but wanted to wish everyone a happy holiday, and a peaceful, joy-filled 2012.
I wanted to pass along Victoria Ipri's blog post, 10 Ways to Expose Yourself in 2012 (in a good way!!) Victoria's tips are great reminders as you head into 2012. My favorite is help people for no good reason. I am tired of the shameless "it's all about me" self-promotions I see on my LinkedIn groups and Facebook pages. Yes, you need to market and put yourself out there, but people don't want to hear a sales pitch 24,7. Be authentic and REAL! Engage with people in genuine ways.
Ask yourself this question before you head into 2012: "What talents, skills and gifts do I have that I can share with someone else...without asking anything in return?"
